Away from the glitz and glamor of star hotels, it was an experience to attend Artec 3D Scanning 6th Partner event at Neumünster Abbey, Luxembourg’s one of the important Luxembourg’s historic site.
This was the first Artec’s Partner event we attended and certainly were glad to be a part of it. The presentations from Artec management team where they shared ongoing developments on 3D Scanning software, upcoming Scanners and synergetic associations with leading Reverse Engineering software companies were promising and impressive.
Few among the 50 Partners who came across the world presented interesting success stories which involved Medical, Archaeological, Defence and Aerospace, Consumer Goods, Fashion Design, Marine and many more. Some seasoned professionals even offered tricks and tips from their experience.
One of the highlight of the meet was Ease of Use, of the 3D Scanners. Interestingly, Artec3D demonstrated it live with a lively 13-year-old girl Sofya Anastasia!!! As you see in the video (Apologies for poor video quality), she goes like a breeze scanning a shoe last. Guess there cannot be a better display to prove speed and ease with which the Artec3D Scanners can capture the data faster and quicker.
