A very proud moment for all of us at Altem Technologies Bangalore to be awarded as one among top 100 SMEs in India. Altem was awarded the prestigious India SME 100 Award for 2013-14 in the IT/ITES segment. Held at hotel ITC Maratha, Mumbai, Maharashtra, it was great to receive a memento in presence of Lokshaba Speaker Smt. Sumithra Mahajan and Union Minister Shri Kalraj Mishra. We were the only company related to 3D Printing & PLM Software honoured with this recognition.
Altem Technologies is one among the 5 award winners from the state of Karnataka and the only one from the IT/ITES segment for the state. There were several evaluation parameters, such as growth performance, innovation, financial soundness and international outlook for the award qualification. It is also the first time that a company that is involved in Additive manufacturing has been recognized for its efforts to promote the technology in the country.
As per SME India Forum there were about 63,819 entries from which they selected final 100. We feel our efforts in democratizing 3D Printing through PLM Software PrintmyCAD.com portal might have helped us in getting into final 100.
It was exciting & encouraging to be among many start-up like us in this list. We hope to be a part of many such awards in coming days.
